The Association of British Theatre Technicians (ABTT) is planning on developing and launching a new strand of Wigs, Hair & Make-up (WHAM) and Costume Interpretation and Costume Management (CITEA) awards which we hope to premiere at the ABTT Theatre  Show 2024 at London’s Alexandra Palace in June.

We wish to create a long overdue platform for the nation-wide recognition of WHAM and CITEA disciplines to acknowledge and celebrate the amazing craft, talent, and imagination that exists so that it may have the opportunity to be placed centre stage.

To ensure the awards are appropriate we would be grateful if anyone affiliated with the WHAM or CITEA community could complete the relevant questionnaire below.
