ABTT members are invited to attend  review event’s of the National Occupational Standards (NOS) for Theatre and Live Productions Technical roles.

ScreenSkills are leading on this work and it is important that as many people as possible with the relevant expertise in rigging/flying, installing, operating and programming shows for LX, Sound & Video, supervising & budgets attend the event to feed into the detail of the NOS.

Work has been ongoing with industry experts and practitioners since September to agree the key functions and tasks for these technical roles and we are now moving forward to work on the review and update of the detailed NOS documents (skills and knowledge requirements for each task / function).

We are running these NOS writing workshops at the following dates and times via Zoom session online:

2pm -3.30pm Friday 20th December 2025

11am -12.30pm Thursday 2nd January 2025

11am -12.30pm Thursday 9th January 2025

2.30pm – 4 pm Thursday 9th January 2025
