The government has published their proposals for a mandated COVID certification scheme for venues and businesses, to be implemented as a ‘Plan B’ to the current Autumn & Winter Plan if case rates rise. The proposals can be found here.

As currently drafted, it is believed that theatres will not fall into any mandatory certification regime proposed, although venues continue to be encouraged to run voluntary schemes.
