Taking over the role from her father, Philip Parsons, who founded the original Steeldeck® platform in 1985. Katherine steps into the position with a strong vision for the company’s future while honouring its rich legacy.

Katherine brings a wealth of experience in finance, investment, and technology. She joined BP in 2010, rising to the position of Head of Low Carbon Trading Platforms. Passionate about sustainability and the energy transition, Katherine has led investments and represented BP on the board of various climate tech start-ups.

As Steeldeck continues to expand its presence across the UK and the USA, with branches in London, Manchester, Los Angeles, and New York, Katherine’s leadership is set to guide the company into its next phase of growth.

Steeldeck Rentals is a leading provider of bespoke temporary staging and seating hire. With roots in the theatre industry, the company has built a reputation for creativity and collaboration, expanding its expertise to become a trusted partner across live entertainment, events, and production.
