ABTT Member Royal Conservatoire of Scotland Announce MA Programme
25 March 2025
The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland are delighted to be launching their new MA Production (Design/Management) this year. Starting in September 2025, this is a one-year programme aimed at set, costume, lighting or sound designers as well as stage or production managers, who have established skills in their discipline and who want to develop those skills further in a collaborative environment.
Whilst taking an individual approach to skills development, the learning journey is framed with the context of the ensemble and navigates the social and ethical considerations of inclusive and sustainable theatre practice.
The programme is very vocational and offers opportunities to work on fully realised stage productions, collaborative projects and research activities alongside other emerging artists from within the Conservatoire. There are also opportunities to enhance professional practice and industry contacts through external placements and collaborations.
By the end of the programme, you will have developed your understanding of your own practice, enhanced your portfolio of work and be in a position to make a meaningful collaborative contribution to the creative arts industry.
