The ABTT are offering this one day Automation Foundation Pilot Course. This course is open to any ABTT member or Non-member interested in working alongside or directly with Automation. This course suits any individuals or teams seeking an understand of what, how and why of Automation in Entertainment.  

What does this CPD course cover?

The course will cover topics such as What is Theatrical Automation?  Where and why is it used?  Automation Possibilities and Limitations., Types and applications of Automation, Best practices and communications in Automation., Basic topology of Automation., Common system components., Fundamentals of control systems and control loops, Safety in the application of Automation, Automation team common operations.  

What will I be able to do at the end of the course?  

On successful completion of this award, you will be able to evidence an understanding of the key components and applications for Automation within Theatre and Live events and have an understanding of how Automation teams operate in a variety of applications. You will have the opportunity to access further training on the Silver Award for Automation.
