This daylong event will bring together professionals, educators, students, and advocates to reflect on the progress of access software and equipment designed to enhance the theatrical experience. With increasing focus on making stagecraft more inclusive, the event will explore how new technologies and practices are transforming our industry for the better.
Event Highlights Include:
Keynote Speaker: A renowned advocate for inclusive theatre will challenge us to think critically about our work through an anti-ableist lens, focusing on the importance of disabled-led innovations and practices.
Practical Demonstrations: Hands-on sessions showcasing creative adaptations of existing technology, as well as the innovative hacks and tips being used to improve accessibility in technical theatre.
Networking Opportunities: A chance to connect with other professionals, educators, and students passionate about inclusivity and share insights in a supportive environment.
This event is co-designed with the Technical Theatre and Stage Management course at the University of Lincoln, and we believe your presence would be invaluable in helping to shape the conversation around inclusive practices within our field.
