The Power of Events Governance & original Taskforce Groups, have decided to evolve the current set up to be a more inclusive Open Taskforce meeting format.
This will manifest as a bi-monthly (every other month) meeting which invites ALL The Power of Events Supporters and Partners to join us for a 1 hour online call with a draft agenda as follows:
Intros and top level updates on current The Power of Events projects
Open forum – discuss projects – views, opinions, feedback – new ideas
Open informal discussion on sector/industry challenges, issues TPOE may be able to support with community Supporters/Partners linked to the core mission
Invited guest speakers from across our Partner Community
Call to Actions for TPOE team
The purpose of this refined approach is to offer a more collaborative connection amongst The Power of Events community network and provide a wider forum for feedback on the core team’s work. This can now be done through a more diverse and open dialogue with a full range of representatives from across the UK Event Industry’s 7 sectors and discuss the challenges they face. We hope this new format will foster new ideas around how The Power of Events can better showcase and support industry challenges alongside an enhanced understanding and profile of the industry. This format could support an invitation to some of our Partner organisations or individuals from other complimentary industries to join the meeting as guest speakers.
