West End Rigging Ltd is a small business, but with big ambition and solid plans for growth. As leading technical professionals in the field, we provide rigging design services, on-site solutions, and inspection services across a wide variety of customer segments such as theatre installations, wire-cams for live sporting events, exhibitions, and so much more.

No two days are alike if you join the team. Both in respect to project, and job activity…while on-site rigging is the centrepiece of this role, you will doubtless get involved in many areas of the business as it grows.

Job Summary
You will be responsible for the safe and efficient assembly, installation, and dismantling of rigging equipment. This person plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful, safe and efficient delivery of projects, working with a range of clients from project inception to delivery and post-production. This position involves working on a variety of rigging and inspection tasks across different sectors, including Broadcast, Education, Theatre, and Events.

Responsibilities:
Project and Equipment Preparation:
• Working with the Head of Projects, you will be required to plan and prepare for projects, to include producing job requisition documents, carnets, packing lists as well as ensuring stock is logged and allocated on the inventory system (Current RMS)
• You will be required to undertake job preparation, packing and delivery, ensuring work is carried out to a high standard and in a timely and efficient manner.

On-site delivery
• The Production Rigger will have an on-site presence on many/all of our events, installations and inspection jobs.
• You will be expected to undertake an element of client facing responsibilities, which will involve site visits and virtual meetings. This will lead to assisting the Head of Projects and Technical Director to accurately quote for projects. Your role will be integral to identifying any complications which may affect project delivery as well as building and maintaining excellent client relationships.
• Lifting Operations: Safe use of lifting equipment in the installation and removal of all rigging equipment.
• Inspection & Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of rigging gear to ensure equipment is in good working condition and complies with safety standards. Perform maintenance as necessary.
• Safety Protocols: Follow strict safety guidelines and ensure adherence to all safety regulations during rigging and lifting operations.

Documentation:
• Assist with the production of accurate project paperwork, to include RAMS, job delivery and completion documentation and Inspection certificates.
• As part of the core team, you will have an active involvement in the company’s Health & Safety responsibilities and policies.

Warehouse Responsibilities:
• Regular attendance at their Cambridgeshire based warehouse and you will be expected to ensure good communication across the company. You will lead on planning and ensuring the regulatory testing of equipment is up-to-date and documented.

Skills
• A minimum of 2-years rigging experience
• NRC Level 2
• IPAF/PASMA – you are competent and confident with a range of access equipment
• Health & Safety training/qualification
• Competent with the use of a range of IT systems and databases

Applicants must hold a manual driver’s licence and be able and comfortable to drive larger vehicles into London. Must be willing to travel to Cambridge on a daily basis when not on site.
