Salary: £40,000 per annum

Get out rate: £41.19 per hour

Hours: 2085 hours per annum, annualised hours

Contract Type: Permanent

The role:

BH Live is recruiting for an experienced Technical Production Manager to join our team at Fairfield Halls. Fairfield Halls is an iconic arts, events and conference venue, which hosts a year-round programme of events including concerts, cultural performances, musicals and plays, conferences and exhibitions, business events, retail catering and banquets.

You will work across all venues within Fairfield Halls and be a key part of the technical management team. You will be the technical lead on the delivery of productions and events across the venue, ensuring that activities are well planned, and carried out safely and efficiently throughout the process, with a strong focus on customer service and experience. You will act as the duty technician and be a key part of the management team in case of emergencies.

You will:

· Act as the lead on the management of production operations, including the hiring of equipment, organisation of colleagues and communication through-out the process.

· Have a primary focus for the safe and efficient delivery of productions and events.

· Line manage and schedule technical colleagues to work across the venue.

· To act as a primary contact for incoming productions and events, in collaboration with other technical colleagues.

· Ensure safe working practices are understood and observed by everyone within your own areas and also the wider building.

· Deputise for the Technical Stage and Operations Manager as and when required.

To be successful you will need:

· Previous experience in managing or supervising a technical department.

· Experience in the operations and safe construction of staging, live sound, lighting and AV

· A thorough knowledge of current legislation inc PUWER, LOLER, COSHH and mains distribution BS7909.

· Significant experience in the management of Health and Safety
