Blue Chilli Flying was set up by Scott Hope, a performer flying specialist with over 20 years’ professional experience. Scott spent a number of years working with Flying by Foy, before being head-hunted to oversee the delivery of a multi-million pound aerial production. Scott has played a major role in the world of theatrical flying, installing solutions for numerous West End productions as well as, for amongst others, the English National Ballet, Scottish Ballet and many professional operas.
Scott has designed and project managed the build of large scale circus rigs, and has production / project managed a number of high profile shows and events around the world. More recently, alongside Blue Chilli providing the flying effects, Scott has also production tour managed the highly acclaimed UK Tour of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Today for Blue Chilli, Scott’s expertise and rare specialist knowledge is invaluable and he heads a team of multi-skilled individuals.
