The SMA is the trade association for stage managers, providing advocacy and support.
SMA works for stage managers and stage management in UK. We support the industry training body: Skillscene, PIPA- for parents and carers, SM Wellbeing, as well as The National Stage Management Awards and International Stage Management Day on October 10th each year.
SMA speaks up on behalf of stage managers, taking stage management issues to other bodies and organisations within the industry and beyond to find appropriate solutions, and supports and assists members and all stage managers to do their work to the highest possible standard.
