Royal Ballet and Opera – Free Lighting Equipment Opportunity

25 October 2024

The Royal Ballet and Opera (previously known as the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden) is soon to undergo a lighting renewal project where a large proportion of our equipment is no longer required. Most of this equipment has been in use for several years and even though lovingly cared for the time has come to upgrade it to newer models.

There will be no charge for this equipment, however it will need to be collected from our stores in Aberdare, South Wales. The date of  the first collection that transport would be required is Thursday 12th December, and due to an extremely positive response all the equipment in this first rehoming has been allocated.

This was only the  first of several equipment rehomings that will be taking place over the coming months / years, if you wish to keep an eye out for future emails regarding future rehomings, you will need to sign up to receive any future emails at the bottom of the form below.

If you are interested, please create a user at the following link to browse the catalogue and then request items that you might be interested in.

Once you have signed up you will receive an email with more details.

Requesting the item does not mean you will receive it; as there is lots of interest and we want to make sure the process is fair for all organisations.

Please feel free to pass this information to your colleagues or other businesses,

Thanks in advance,

Royal Ballet and Opera Lighting Department.
